Our novel Sensor Systems are currently developed and will be used to measure wheels and tires. The aim is the measurement of static friction, the slip (today not possible) and other parameters.
Following the successful development, our measurement systems gather data simultaneously and wide-band in particular the angular velocity Ω(t) and the current focus of the rotation axis n(t) relative to the surface normal of the car wheel. Additionally the elastic deformation of the wheels will be measured as function of time „t“ by driving straight ahead and along curves, by deceleration and acceleration.
Our measurement systems work on the basis of high-precision, robust and intrinsic detection principles, which are independent from external effects like electro-magnetic interferences.
